I have a BA in Modern History from the University of Westminster and a PGCE in Primary 5-11 from London Metropolitan University. After graduating, I worked as a class teacher in primary schools in Haringey, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. I also worked across London as a supply teacher for a year and a half. After leaving teaching, I joined MOLA as one of their Archaeology Trainees, gaining an NVQ in Archaeological Practice. Alongside this I worked for MOLA on commercial sites as a field archaeologist. I also previously volunteered in the Schools and Family Programme at the Museum of London Archaeological Archive and Research Centre (LAARC).
