Lorna Richardson
Archaeology Outreach Officer
I have a BA in Medieval Archaeology, and a MA in Public Archaeology, both from the Institute of Archaeology, UCL. My main research interest is focussed on the intersection of heritage and digital technologies – especially widening public involvement in archaeology through the application of web-based resources.
Prior to joining the TDP, I worked for a number of organisations in the Third Sector and as a field archaeologist. I joined L – P : Archaeology, as their outreach officer and was involved with the development of their unique digital outreach project, the Prescot Dig. The public outreach programme delivered at Prescot Street was awarded the 2008 Ralph Merrifield Award for London Archaeology.
