The YAC is a UK-wide club for 8 – 16 year olds interested in archaeology, with local group meetings and activities. Members get a membership pack containing a certificate, a badge, a membership card and the latest issue of the quarterly magazine Young Archaeologist, packed with stories of recent discoveries, news items, reports, competitions, questions and answers, and lots of things to make and do.

YAC Members also get the opportunity to take part in one of YAC’s very popular residential holidays (for members aged 9-16 only), the chance to enter the Young Archaeologist of the Year Award competition, and the YAC Pass – a passport to the past which gives free entry to all English Heritage, Cadw, Historic Scotland and the Environment and Heritage Service sites and discounted/free entry to selected museums across the UK.
