A Festival of British Archaeology 2009 event

Saturday 18 July 2009 10.30am – 4.30pm.

The Middlesex and Surrey archaeological dowsers will be locating and marking out the sites of hidden buildings which may include an ice house and a medieval building. Dowsing can be used to assist archaeologists in their work by quickly locating hidden buildings etc. and marking them out for further investigation. The dowsing team will be locating and marking out any hidden buildings in the grounds of Gunnersbury Park, weather permitting. There will also be a talk and demo of dowsing and information on what the archaeological dowsers are doing.
