Saturday, 18 January 2020, 11am – 4pm

Mortimer Wheeler House, 46 Eagle Wharf Rd, London, N1 7ED

In this workshop you’ll learn from Alan Pipe (MOLA bone specialist) how to identify which animal bones you find on the Thames foreshore might have come from. You’ll find out which bones are likely to be preserved and which are not. And you’ll be able to get hands on with examples of animal bone, to test your new-found knowledge.

The workshop will begin at 11:20 with registration from 11:00am. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but you will need to bring a packed lunch, alternatively there are several shops and cafes nearby.

This workshop is fully booked, we will be organising more foreshore skills workshops this year, keep an eye on our website and social media for more

Thanks to support from Tideway and City Bridge Trust this event is offered FREE of charge. If for any reason you cannot attend please let us know so we can pass your space onto someone else who’d like to come.
