75 Years of Pioneering Archaeology
A new exhibition entitled Breaking Ground: 75 Years of Pioneering Archaeology, and created by MA Museum Studies students from the Institute of Archaeology, UCL, will open to the public on 10th May 2012. Breaking Ground is an exhibition created as part of UCL Institute of Archaeology’s 75th Anniversary Celebration that looks at how the people, practices, and ideas of London’s Institute of Archaeology have changed the way we explore and understand the past. The exhibition runs from May 2012 until March 2013 and will showcase a wide range of objects from the Institute’s unparalleled collections as well as photographs from the Institute’s archives.
The exhibition will be displayed in the A.G. Leventis Gallery of Cypriot and Eastern Mediterranean Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, London and admission is FREE. You can find out more about the project on their blog or via Facebook or Twitter.
