Lorna Richardson will be giving a talk to the Richmond Archaeology Society on the digital participation and outreach projects of the Prescot Dig and the Thames Discovery Programme.
The Richmond Archaeology Society
The Richmond Archaeology Society originated as the Archaeological Section of the Richmond Society in 1977 when a group of enthusiasts decided that there was a need for a local society focusing exclusively on archaeology. The object of the Society is to educate and inform the public about archaeology through a variety of activities. The Society caters for people with a general interest in the human past, whether local or world-wide, as well as professionals and those studying the subject. RAS offers a lively programme to a high standard in a friendly atmosphere. Although the Society draws its membership mainly from the Richmond area, ALL ARE WELCOME.
