Thames riverside walk with David McDowall (Author of Walkers Guides to Richmond Park and the Thames), starting from Kew Green, across Kew Bridge and along the Middlesex bank to Richmond half lock.
The walk starts at 10am on Kew Green and should end at approximately noon.
Prices: Environment Trust members £8.50. Non members £10

1.30pm to 4.30 pm: The Great River Race – London’s River Marathon. 21 miles from London Docklands to Ham, Surrey. Visit the festival on Ham fields and cheer on the Environment Trust’s boat.

1pm to 5pm: London Open House. Visit the three properties the Environment Trust manages: Kilmorey Mausoleum, Grove Gardens Chapel and Sir Richard Burton’s Mausoleum.

11am to 4pm: This month’s ‘Art Picnic’ on Thames Ditton Island will be a printmaking workshop.
Prices: Environment Trust Members £15. Non members £20; 12-16 year olds £5

A walk with Rob Gray and Keith Martin explores the upper River Crane from the Hanworth Road to Hounslow Heath. This walk will go upstream through the little known Pevensey Road nature reserve and into the old Feltham Marshalling Yards, now a London wide Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.
The walk starts at 10am the Shot Tower in Crane Park and should end at approximately noon.

The second walk wanders through a small woodland-style garden created from an 18th century burial ground and learn about its history, surprising cast of “residents” and varied flora from Alan Sherriff, a Richmond Heritage Guide.
The walk starts at 10.30am by the Vestry Offices on the corner of Vineyard Passage and Paradise Road and should end at about 11.45am.
