Join us for a family-friendly walk on the foreshore at Strand-on-the-Green, Chiswick on Sunday 29th August at 12pm. 150 years ago the tidal Thames was virtually dead, filled with sewage and industrial pollution but now it is teaming with life, London’s greatest space for wildlife, so get your wellies on and come and see what lives in the river for yourselves with ecologist Joe Pecorelli. You can also find out a bit more about the archaeology on the foreshore with the Thames Discovery Programme.

Booking

Tickets are £4 per adult and £2 per child. Please book and print a ticket using the link below, and bring the payment on the day. Tickets are limited, and the walk is weather permitting. Please wear wellies or strong footwear, come dressed for muddy conditions and expect to get a little dirty!
