Family Holiday Event

Join the Thames Discovery Programme, CBA London and BBC Hands on History for a special summer holiday event on Saturday 6th August 2011.

We’ll be exploring the City of London foreshore beneath the Millennium Bridge, and learning to identify and record our finds at the Museum of London.

This event is suitable for families with children aged 7 and over.

12.00pm – we’ll be meeting at Trig Lane Stairs (under the Millennium Bridge) and spend an hour or so on the foreshore looking for artefacts.

2.00pm – back to the Museum of London for a look at the Archaeology in Action Gallery

3.00pm – artefact identification and other activities

4.00pm – event ends

What to Bring

Please bring wellies or walking boots and weather-proof clothing, and come prepared to get a little muddy!
