Join one of our professional archaeologists to discover the archaeology of the Deptford waterfront including a Naval shipyard set up by the Tudors, a visit by the Russian Tsar Peter the Great and the role of the London docks in the Second World War. Guided by one of our expert archaeologists, you’ll discover the hidden history of this extraordinary part of London.

The meeting point for this walk is at the top of the steps located at the bottom of Watergate St. Close to the Master Shipwright’s House.

Free concessionary tickets are available for Londoners over 65, London based-Veterans and Londoners living with dementia, Parkinson’s or mental health Problems.
