20th & 21st March 2010 11am – 4pm

Experience London’s maritime heritage, visit traditional river craft and historic vessels at Hermitage and learn about the archaeology and history of the Thames foreshore at this open weekend in Wapping, a short stroll from the Tower of London.

This is a unique opportunity to discover more about the river, see an exhibition and films about the river’s past, listen to oral histories from people that worked on the Thames and have access to historic river craft. This event is organised in association with the Thames Discovery Programme.
