The Council for British Archaeology is an educational charity working throughout the UK to involve people in archaeology and to promote the appreciation and care of the historic environment for the benefit of present and future generations. The London Regional Group of the CBA acts as point of reference for all Londoners interested in the past.

The group hosts a number of events and seminars, assist with public participation in excavation and conservation as well as supporting various other innovative ways of raising the profile of archaeology in the city. The next CBA London Group event will be a “ehind the Scenes” visit to the London Archaeological Archive and Research Centre (LAARC) in Shoreditch on the 19th February. Tickets cost £5 each.
