We are seeking a talented and incisive evaluation consultant for our Thames Discovery Programme River Recoveries project, which brings together young people, volunteering, & digital engagement around the archaeology of the Thames.

Applications are open all, we’re especially keen to hear from ethnically diverse, youth, LGBTQI+ or disability-led organisations and consultants.

An external evaluator will be commissioned to undertake an evaluation of the River Recoveries project. It is proposed that the evaluator should work with project team and volunteers over the life of the project to ensure that short-term findings can be quickly integrated into the delivery of the project. This will also enable the evaluator to undertake in-depth observational analysis of specific elements of the project and to incorporate this with the data gathered through the monitoring procedures.

River Recoveries will work across and between four London sites (Fulham/Putney, Bankside, Limehouse, and Deptford) with young people and diverse communities to develop co-produced participatory models for foreshore archaeology.

For more details, fee and application criteria, please see the Evaluation Brief.
