Lorna has a BA in Medieval Archaeology, and a MA in Public Archaeology, both from the Institute of Archaeology, UCL. Her main work interest is widening public involvement in archaeology wherever possible, especially through the use of web-based technologies.
Prior to joining the TDP, Lorna worked for a number of charities, and then as the outreach officer for L – P : Archaeology, and was involved with the development of their unique digital outreach project, the Prescot Dig. The public outreach programme delivered at Prescot Street was awarded the 2008 Ralph Merrifield Award for London Archaeology.
